Free choice blog

A couple weeks ago my friend Sean brought me up to his uncle’s house for the day. He picked me up after lunch and the two of us headed out to South Lyon for our exciting day ahead of us. Once we got there we pulled in and we saw a child on a quad pull up. Sean told me that was one of his cousins so we said our hellos and hopped on his quad to go to their tree house and to load up some wood. When we arrived I met Sean’s other cousin and their friend, they were loading wood up in the trailer. Sean showed me the tree house and I was impressed because it had cable, heat, and a telephone in it! After I got the grand tour we hopped on their golf cart and drove to the barn, car shop and sat around the fire for some food. It was a motorcycle party for his cousins neighbor, they had one every year.
So we stayed for a little while and after all of the people started to leave Sean and his little brother, Alec, showed me and Alec’s friend David around the bar, car shop. They had a ton of cool stuff there! It was like a tiny museum with all the posters and old cars everywhere. Then Mrs. Allen, Sean’s mom, said Sean should take me out for a quad ride and show me all the cool places around the neighborhood.  So we took her up on that off. We took out the quad and went by the pond where Sean pointed out the zip line above it. It looked like it would be a ton of fun to do. We also went off some pretty sweet jumps and did some pretty cool tricks as well. We went back to Sean’s uncle’s house because we heard a really loud noise coming from that direction.
When we go there his cousins, Alec, and David were looking at a huge pipe. Sean and I had no clue what it was so I finally asked, “What is that?” They told us it was a potato cannon and it had made a whole through two plastic chairs. Sean shot the potato through a four inch piece of wood and I couldn’t believe how big the whole was! All from a little potato! We looked at the time and decided to go out one last time on the quads before we would leave. We went out and did a couple tricks but it was so cold. So we said your thank you’s and good bye’s and left his uncle’s house.
